Baby Red Ackie

We have 5 baby Red Ackie Monitors available from our Rare Earth Line breeding pair. Scroll to see a picture of the parents. This is our 2nd clutch born this year. These guys were hatched on August 28, 2024. They are unsexed. We interact with them daily by tong feeding a variety of dusted insects like small crickets, small Dubia roaches, mealworms and small hornworms. They have proper UVB lighting. They are relatively small monitors, typically growing to around 18-24 inches in length. With regular handling and proper care, Red Ackies can become quite tame and tolerant of human interaction. They are generally not aggressive, making them suitable for those who may be newer to monitor lizards. These lizards are very active and curious, providing a lot of entertainment.
